🎓 New Skills in Our Team!

Our therapist Dominik has recently completed two advanced courses:

MTG for Radicular Pain and Headaches

Scar Therapy in the Abdominal Area

These specialized techniques are particularly beneficial for patients struggling with chronic headaches, nerve-related pain, and post-surgical or post-traumatic scar issues. Scar therapy can help improve tissue mobility and reduce discomfort, while MTG techniques support pain relief and nerve function restoration. If you suffer from these conditions, book a consultation to explore how these treatments can benefit you!

Let’s talk shortly about kinesiology and how we use it in our clinic.

🔹 Applied Kinesiology – a diagnostic and treatment approach that aims to "communicate" with the human body. It was founded by George Goodheart and has its origins in chiropractic and osteopathy. The practice involves specific muscle testing techniques, where practitioners assess the functional state of body systems and individual organs through resistance testing of muscles.

The core method involves asking patients to contract muscles isometrically while the practitioner applies pressure to evaluate muscle response. A strong resistance indicates normal function, while insufficient resistance suggests a weakened reflex. Practitioners use this muscle testing to identify functional disturbances in the body and their causes. This approach allows for a holistic understanding of a patient’s condition and helps develop personalized treatment plans to improve overall well-being.

Later after tests we adjust the therapy to the issue and very often we need to work with oversensitive receptors in neuro system, called “pins” or “kats” or as some of you call it - fork. But you can ask what are pins? What are kats? (no - we don’t use cats as treatment method🐱). You can find short explanation below.

🔹 Pinotherapy – a manual therapy method founded by a Polish orthopeadic surgeon Dr Radosław Składowski, using specialized tools called pins and katy. Pins are small, blunt, metal rods used to stimulate specific points on the body, while katy are flat metal plates designed to release tension in muscles and fascia. This technique helps in treating pain, reducing muscle tightness, and restoring proper nervous system function by influencing reflex points and stimulating self-regulation mechanisms in the body. It is especially useful for patients dealing with chronic pain, mobility restrictions, and neurological dysfunctions. Some of you already know what we are talking about. For those who do not - welcome to visit us!
